On June 29, Li Hongjun, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jiangxi Provincial Committee, Secretary of the CPC Nanchang Municipal Committee, and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Ganjiang New Area, went to the front line to investigate the planning and construction of Toushupu Park and Wusha River Greenway project. Mei Feng, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Nanchang Municipal Committee and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Nanchang Economic and Technological Development Zone, Zhao Jie, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Nanchang Municipal Committee and Secretary-General of the CPC Nanchang Municipal Committee, and Jiang Xinhong, Vice Mayor of Nanchang City, attended.
Our city plans to build the Toushupu Park in the area east of the embankment-top road on the east bank of the Wusha River, north of the Provincial Heavy Sports Management Center and west of the Diezihu Avenue, to further explore the historical story of “Hong Qiao’s Letter Submission” and showcase the humanistic heritage of Nanchang. A greenway will be built along the Wusha River to further connect Xinjian District, Honggutan District and Nanchang Economic and Technological Development Zone, better meeting the needs of citizens for leisure and sports. During the investigation, Li thoroughly understood the regional topography and landforms, listened to relevant situation reports, and jointly studied the project planning and construction work with relevant departments.
