On September 7, Li Hongjun, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jiangxi Provincial Committee, Secretary of the CPC Nanchang Municipal Committee and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Ganjiang New Area, went to the front line to investigate the progress of key project construction. Li Songdian, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Nanchang Municipal Committee and Head of Publicity Department of the CPC Nanchang Municipal Committee, Zhao Jie, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Nanchang Municipal Committee and Secretary-General of the CPC Nanchang Municipal Committee, Jiang Xinhong and Gao Huihong, Vice Mayors of Nanchang City, attended the relevant activities.
Our city has been committed to allocating the best resources to the field of people’s livelihood. We have planned and constructed Jiuzhou Park in the core area of the city, creating a great place for citizens to relax and have fun, and better meeting the people’s expectations for a better life. Jiuzhou Park was opened to the public at the end of June this year. Currently, the security and cleaning of the park have entered a regular management stage. The parking lot, large lawn and sports field have been opened to the public. The train book cafe and the convenience store at the rest stop have entered the trial operation stage and will be officially operational during the National Day holiday. Since its opening, the park has successively held activities such as rice field shrimp fishing, screening of revolutionary-themed films, art exhibitions, and lawn music performances. The park will focus on the positioning of “agricultural culture, citizens’ leisure and gardening life”, and continue to do a good job in the planning of the “Cultivating Land” and “two harvests and two sowing” series of activities. It will focus on the landscape features of the “train station” and the large grassland and other elements, strengthen the coordination with the cultural and tourism departments, and continue to hold cultural and entertainment and festival activities such as lawn concerts, open-air film screenings and theme camping parties. Li Hongjun inspected the construction and operation of the park on the spot, listened to the relevant work reports, and learned in detail about the business layout, operation planning and other situations. Li Hongjun emphasized that all relevant units should further strengthen the operation and management of the park, put in meticulous efforts, carry out refined management, intensify environmental sanitation and cleaning, enhance the maintenance and management of facilities, and effectively improve the park’s recreational experience. We should promote the improvement of the surrounding environment of parks in a coordinated manner, continuously optimize regional traffic organization, further enhance the functional quality of the city, and make citizens and tourists feel more comfortable and at ease when visiting. We should make full use of the park space, actively introduce leisure formats that are popular among the masses, and better meet the needs of citizens and tourists.
