On October 29th, the Party Working Committee of Ganjiang New Area held a meeting to earnestly study and implement the recent important speeches and instructions made by General Secretary Xi Jinping, and to discuss and deploy the implementation opinions of the New Area. Li Hongjun, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jiangxi Provincial Committee, Secretary of the CPC Nanchang Municipal Committee and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Ganjiang New Area, presided over the meeting.
The meeting studied and implemented Xi’s keynote speech made at the Global Leaders’ Meeting on Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment , the important reply letter to all the teachers and students of China Agricultural University, and the important speech at the meeting attended by non-CPC personages. The meeting emphasized the need to strengthen ideological and political guidance for women, promote reform and innovation in the work of women’s federations, continuously tell the stories of women, give full play to the role of women in “holding up half of the sky”, focus on serving the overall situation of high-quality development, and encourage more female cadres and workers to exert their capabilities, display their talents and contribute their strength in the process of economic and social development. Relying on the early-mover advantages of the New Area’s industries, we should promote the in-depth integration of digital technology with modern agriculture, traditional Chinese medicine planting and other fields, focus on enhancing the level of scientific and technological innovation and the transformation of achievements in the agricultural sector, and help promote the modernization of agricultural products and traditional Chinese medicine planting. We should give full play to the role of all kinds of talent resources, and focus on the work of industrial development, scientific and technological innovation, reform and opening up, urban construction and improvement of people’s livelihood during the 15th Five-Year Plan period to widely collect and systematically sort out all kinds of opinions and suggestions, strengthen development confidence, build development consensus, and provide intellectual support for the formulation of the 15th Five-Year Plan of the New Area.
The meeting deliberated and approved in principle the “Overall Arrangement for Studying, Publicizing and Implementing the Spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China”.
