On December 10th, Li Hongjun, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jiangxi Provincial Committee, Secretary of the CPC Nanchang Municipal Committee and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Ganjiang New Area, went to the front line to conduct a research on the construction of the Changnan Bridge. He emphasized that under the premise of ensuring safety and quality, the project construction should be accelerated to ensure that the Changnan Bridge will be completed and opened to traffic before January 20th next year.

During the research, Li inspected the project construction on the spot, listened to the relevant work reports, and learned in detail about the construction progress, construction organization and other situations. He fully affirmed the achievements of the project construction. Li emphasized that all relevant units should further enhance their ideological understanding, solidify their work responsibilities, firmly establish a sense of high quality, solidly carry out the whole-process construction management, strictly control the project quality, implement the highest standards and strictest requirements, adhere to the pursuit of excellence, improve the technology level, pay attention to details and highlight characteristics, do a good job in the beautification of the bridge’s appearance, and strive to present the design concept of “one bridge, one scene”, so as to add luster to the beautiful scenery on both banks of the Ganjiang River. We must firmly hold on to the baseline of safety in engineering construction, strengthen on-site management, standardize operation procedures, incorporate the concept of safety throughout all aspects of project construction, assign safety production responsibilities to individuals and positions, closely monitor key links, carry out in-depth hidden danger investigation and governance, firmly hold on to the baseline of safety, and strive to create high-quality and reassuring projects. It is necessary to closely monitor the targets and tasks, intensify work efforts, strengthen element guarantees, scientifically coordinate forces, well schedule the construction period, effectively enhance construction efficiency, and fully accelerate the construction progress of the Changnan Bridge to ensure its timely completion and opening to traffic. It is imperative to enhance road connectivity, continuously optimize traffic organization, constantly densify the road network along the routes, and further improve the overall traffic level of the city.
