With the rapid development of the low-altitude economy, our city is taking science and technology as wings to promote the three-dimensional and intelligent transformation of urban governance. Recently, it was learned by the reporter from relevant departments that the comprehensive data service platform for low-altitude applications in our city (also known as the “Hongcheng Eagle Eye” platform) has been initially completed and put into use. It plays an important role in multiple fields such as public security, urban management law enforcement, housing and urban-rural construction, and natural resources planning, marking a solid step forward for our city in the intensive and data-oriented low-altitude government services.
Up to now, this platform has been successively put into use in units such as Nanchang High-tech Zone, the Traffic Management Detachment of Nanchang Public Security Bureau, Nanchang Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau, Nanchang Municipal Urban Management and Law Enforcement Bureau, and Nanchang Municipal Bureau of Natural Resources and Planning. It has initially established a new urban low-altitude governance system that integrates “sky and land” and features multi-departmental collaboration, having effectively enhanced the intelligence and refinement of urban governance. According to statistics, a total of 4,415 flight missions have been carried out, with a total flight duration of 1,450 hours and a flight mileage of 42,623.9 kilometers, which is equivalent to circling the Earth’s equator more than once.
It is understood that the platform, through the inspection mode of “full coverage and focus on key areas”, combines AI recognition and multi-modal perception technology to achieve full-chain services from daily inspections to emergency responses. At present, 18 unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) airports have been completed in the built-up areas of the city, providing a stable and reliable “eye in the air” for the city’s operation.
