On December 15th, Li Hongjun, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jiangxi Provincial Committee, Secretary of the CPC Nanchang Municipal Committee and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Ganjiang New Area, made a special investigation on the development of the performing arts economy in our city. Dang Jing, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Nanchang Municipal Committee, Li Songdian, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Nanchang Municipal Committee and Head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Nanchang Municipal Committee, and Gao Huihong, Vice Mayor of Nanchang City, attended.
During the investigation, Li Hongjun listened to the overall arrangement of the city’s performing arts activities in 2026, learned in detail about the preparations for some concerts and the connection of performing arts activities, and studied and deployed key tasks. Li Hongjun pointed out that the development of the performing arts economy is an important measure to implement Xi Jinping Thought on Culture and promote the prosperity of new cultural forms. It is of great significance for enhancing the cultural soft power of the city, expanding its influence, and further building a vibrant heroic city that is loved by outsiders, proud of by locals, and yearned for by young people. All relevant departments should maintain the favorable momentum of the development of the performing arts economy in our city. They should incorporate the number of performances organized and the comprehensive benefits generated into the work assessment, give full play to the role of the assessment as a “baton”, promote the diversification and innovation of the performing arts market in our city, and continuously expand, strengthen and optimize the performing arts economy in our city.
