It’s settled! Free tickets! On December 19th, the 2025 Nanchang Large-scale Fantasy Scarecrow Art Festival will kick off at the Nanchang Rare Plant Garden. The Scarecrow Art Festival will be held from December 19, 2025 to January 18, 2026.
It is understood that dozens of artists gathered in Nanchang and built a huge fantasy kingdom with straw from Jiangxi Province. Inside, there are works such as orangutans on motorcycles embarking on a journey, cute national treasures pandas, spouting whales, huge crocodiles with wide-open mouths, and a grand “cosmic starry river” slowly unfolding, all ready to challenge the Guinness World Record.
As one of the largest greenhouse botanical gardens in Asia, it features a tropical rainforest hall that mimics the global rainforest ecosystem, a rare flower and fruit hall focusing on rare tropical flowers and fruits, a dream sandbar hall with a unique desert plant display space, and a science popularization hall dedicated to a botany science popularization zone. This Scarecrow Art Festival advocates harmonious coexistence between man and nature. It is not only a visual feast but also a carnival of nearby tours. Here, citizens can not only take photos, but also have parents-child interactions.
