Recently, the final review meeting for the 2025 Patent Analysis Popularization and Promotion Project of the China National Intellectual Property Administration was held. The project of “Patent Analysis and Research on Key Technologies of Innovative Traditional Chinese Medicine Based on Classic Prescriptions” jointly applied for by the Intellectual Property Protection Center of Nanchang City, China Resources Jiangzhong Pharmaceutical Group and Jiangxi University of Chinese Medicine has successfully passed the review. This is the first national-level patent special research project in our city to pass the acceptance inspection.
The project of “Patent Analysis and Research on Key Technologies of Innovative Traditional Chinese Medicine Based on Classic Prescriptions” systematically sorted out five core dimensions, namely policy environment, technological trends, registration classification system, patent application trends, and technology transformation mechanism, to promote the development path of forming new traditional Chinese medicine based on classic prescriptions. Through an in-depth analysis of the modernization development strategy of traditional Chinese medicine, the evolution of regulations and systems, and industrial practices, the unique value and strategic position of ancient classic prescriptions in the modern innovation system of traditional Chinese medicine are revealed, having provided a decision-making basis for the development of the classic prescriptions based traditional Chinese medicine.
Next, our city will take the successful acceptance of this project as an opportunity to actively promote and introduce research results to traditional Chinese medicine enterprises and research institutes, strive to promote the application of research results in the high-quality development of the classic prescriptions based traditional Chinese medicine industry, and explore focusing on the protection of intellectual property rights throughout the entire chain of classic prescriptions based traditional Chinese medicine to conduct deeper research, and make new and greater contributions to the strategy of building a strong province in traditional Chinese medicine and the inheritance and innovative development of traditional Chinese medicine.
